Affordable housing and employment are the two biggest challenges Immanuel House residents face. After living at Immanuel House for four months, residents must move out and be self-sustaining.

With housing costs in the South Bay being among the highest in the nation, it is extremely difficult for our residents to find affordable housing. Our residents can rent rooms, share apartments or accept any other low cost housing opportunities.

Regarding employment, some of our residents are fluent in English and have college degrees qualifying them for professional level employment, while others have low to intermediate English skills and are looking for entry-level low skill jobs.

Please contact us if you have any leads on affordable housing and/or employment opportunities for Immanuel House residents; this is the most valuable way you can support our work and the population we serve. Thank you.
